Miniatürk, 100% based on 3380 ratings
Is quite far from Sultanahmet area, where we stayed but we were happy to go there. There is an audio guide in different languages next to each building, you just need to swipe the barcodes on your ticket.
it is a place that you can find most of the famous places in turkey on it but with small size . there is some toys for kids if they want to play there. if you haven't enough time to see all Istanbul you can go there and see them in small size
A must see if you visit Istanbul. You can see all other places and building all over Turkey in miniature version in this place. After visiting this place we realized that theres many more to see in Turkey and decided to visit again next year.
One more thing, children will love this place as well.
great learning value. İntroduction to all historical places in Turkey. Can listen to details in your own language. Must go before visiting anything else.
plus the kids love it..
If you have little time in İstanbul or Turkey, try this open air museum which is on Golden Horn. Historic buildings from all over Turkey giving you a sense of the past, information on four languages, huge gift shop, can take an hour.
You can reach Miniaturk either by taxi or take a bus to Miniaturk station . You see buildings 25 smaller than they are .There is a restaurant to have a meal with reasonable prices.
A very nice place where you can see all sightseeings all around Turkey in one place. There are many cafeterias and restaurants. You can take a photo wearling the cloth of Sultan/ Sultana. The place is sourrounded by multicolor houses that give more beauty to what you will see inside.
This one is a must visit, but unfortunately most of the touristic guides will not talk about it. I think one should visit this first, as it gives a quick glimpse of all the great things you can do and choose from this. It has amazing details of the various historical monuments and backgrounds.
A must visit. All the miniature models of the monuments of Turkey can be found here. You can travel all of turkey in an hour!
We visited Miniaturk as a part of our 4 day trip to Istanbul. It's a lovely place and kids would enjoy this place. Perfectly designed minitaures of almost all the monuments in Turkey. Go for it !
