Unforgettable four-hour tour at the oldest crossroads of the world !
Visit the Topkapi Palace, once the palace of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, Topkapi is a vast treasury of Islamic culture, science and weaponry, visited by over 2 million people every year. It is one of the highlights of Turkey.
Visit the Underground Cistern (Basilica Cistern),waterway was used as a reservoir for water storage for the Great Palace and other buildings. It is 132 m length, by 65m wide. There are 336 columns in the cistern. Most of the column capitals are either in Corinthian or Doric Style. It’s impressive.
After leaving the Basilica Cistern you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. Depending on how you measure it, the covered market here could be the largest shopping center in the world, numbering over 4,000 individual shops, you will find among masses of modern trash an approximation of youthful dreams of the glamorous oriental market.

Turquia istanbul el tour privado jejeje todo de maravilla todo hermoso
Takes a few hours at least but worth it…the harem rooms were most interesting so be sure to buy the extra ticket at entrance.
Topkapi Palace is a must-see despite my rating. It is a one-of-a-kind site and holds so much cool history.
This was definitely a highlight from our Istanbul visit and you MUST visit the Harem as it is amazing!
One can imagine hoe sultans could become somewhat detached when living in this impressive place. Treasures beyond price and idyllic views. Can become very crowded so choose your time of visit carefully. We have yet to go back to visit the harem such is the size of the place.
Topkapi Palace was incredible! Get there just before 9AM and choose either Harem or Privy Room. Walk directly to your choice and enjoy the ten to fifteen minutes where you have the place to yourself. Be prepared to spend at least a half day in this place (bare minimum and so worth it).
Opulent palace and grounds where the sultans once ruled Istanbul from – massive facility that requires more time to really appreciate the expansive facility.
We went to the Topkapi palace as the first part of our visit for the day. To start with we were told it would only take 2 hours. This is in fact is almost impossible unless you wish to just zip past everything.
