I would highly recommend
This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..
A visit to this site is remarkable and overwhelming. I was once an agnostic, but as I got older and the more I learned, the more I believe–on a lot of topics.
Vale a pena conhecer!
A visita é indescritível.
Although it's out of city, but if you are in a tour (like we were), they'll show you this place… Its divine, & its historical… It is said that Virgin Mary lived in this house during the last days (if i'm not forgetting the last days part)… Proper dressing is required, & cameras inside are not allowed… If you are…
This was the first stop of our Ephesus tour. We were there around 9:30 AM and it was already crowded with tourists and kids on a field trip. Nevertheless, the area was still serene and tranquil. The house was located on top of a hill and surrounded by beautiful woods.
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
Ephesus – the city established in 10 BC is a must visit for anyone having an interest in history. What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
The site is surprisingly easy to access from Selcuk (5 km) or Kusadasi (15 km)
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
The house was recently built on a few stones that they think was the Virgin Mary's house. The history is interesting, but if you are pressed for time, I would skip this one. The city of Ephesus is much more interesting. But if you have time, the drive up to the house is quite scenic and it's a peaceful place…
Very spiritual place. Can enter the house and light a candle. Very well kept area.
