Before I went to the Ancient city of Ephesus, we visited the virgyn Mary's house, which is located on a mountain close to Ephesus. Its an interesting expirience to get there by bus in a period when lot of buses go up there ! The house is nice located sourounded by nature, its quiet and peacfull..

This visit was included on our trip to Ephesus and the site was very crowded. In spite of this the feeling of the place is very spiritual and all visitors showed respect to the site and each other. The house is small and has been restored as a chapel, but you can still get the feeling of the small house…
Done a half day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
So much of the area is preserved, and visible. The Terrace houses are amazing, with tiles and frescoes in situ.. must see..
Turkey Ephesus is an amazing must see destination!. I was glad I went with a guide as she knew a wealth of information that couldn’t be found just by walking around by ourselves. Thanks
excellent tour..
A "must visit" place especially for Catholic and Christians. This is supposedly a holy Christian place and one is expected to wear proper attire before entering the chapel. Bring along some empty bottles to collect the holy spring water and some papers to write your prayer wishes.
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
