holy place ,I felt very spiritual when I visited there, it is a bit hussle to get there but I think it is worth to visit
We took a great cruise to mediterrenean sea with "Seadream Yacht Club" and everything was great. We had great time during our trip to Turkey, since it was our second time we decided to visit the House of Mary near Ephesus. I do not want to spoil the good parts so all I can say is be sure to visit…
We really enjoyed the trip. Thank you very much
The Virgin Mary’s home was interesting, but the tour of Ephesus was fascinating and very memorable. Fortunately our tour contact suggested we also visit the Terrace Homes, another great experience. Our guides were personable and gave us great insight into that period of time. We had a lunch of Turkish favorite dishes in a beautiful outdoor setting.
There was a special quality about this place, haunting and humbling. Even though it can't be authenticated, you knew it was a very special place.
This site attracts people from all religions and the non religious. Everyday thousands pay homage to this little house well up in the mountains and the order of priests who maintain the property also say Mass a couple of times a day. A
had a wonderful time thank you
We visited via coach as part of an Oceania Cruise tour. There were 4 ships in port that day so it was very crowded and a long line to visit the House. It moved quickly, however, with plenty of time to absorb the details and artifacts.
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
Our guide sat and chatted with us the entire way to Ephesus about Turkish history, lifestyle, and some chitchat. At Ephesus she gave as a solid, amazing tour.
